The Singles League will kick off in the New Year... Please use the form below to signup and clicking 'Submit'. We can allocate courts at Babington on a Friday night, although this may expand to other nights if there is sufficient demand.

Rules & Guidelines

The following are Rules and Guidelines:

1. Players would pay a fee of £10 per head to cover court costs. Please pay the £10 fee asap if you haven't already done so. You can give the payment to Ajay Pitrola or Greg Howes if you see us. Cheques to be made payable to 'Leicestershire Badminton Association'. Please send all postal payments to: League Secretary, 20 St Helens Close, Leicester LE4 0GR.

2. Players will be required to bring their own feather shuttles (however if the two players agree to play with plastic shuttles, then this is up to the individuals concerned to agree beforehand).

3. Players who cannot make their allocated date/time because of club matches would have to make alternative arrangements with their opponents to play the match at another night, there are a couple of Wednesday nights made available for this.  If this is applicable, at first instance, contact your opponent to let them know you cannot make the match and then check to see if a Wednesday is available for you to use.

4. The matches will be played according to the schedule highlighted each week. You will play the best of 3 games against your opponent, with each game following the rally point scoring.

5. On a particular night you play 2 opponents, so you would potentially play a maximum of 6 games (if each went to the 3rd game). If time persists and you complete your matches early, you are welcome to host friendly matches.

6. All results to be emailed to leaguesec@lbabadminton.org. Please mark the subject 'Singles Results (date)' so that it is clear for us to process.
